If you are considering submitting a transfer request for Airedale High School, please be advised that the school does not manage its own admissions.  If you wish to apply to join Airedale High School, you must contact Admissions at Wakefield LA to discuss the move and obtain the appropriate transfer application.

A number of applications have been made via the Contact page on this website - unfortunately, we cannot process any such applications, neither can we pass them on to the authority on your behalf.

The school has now fixed a number of INSET days during 2010, as follows:

- Monday 26th & Tuesday 27th July 2010

- Wednesday 1st, Thursday 2nd & Friday 3rd September 2010

This means that school will close to students for the Summer Holidays on Friday 23rd July and re-open for the Autumn term on Monday 6th September.

A letter is being sent home to parents this week confirming all these details.
