Thank you to Jenny Bird’s mum who suggested that we put stickers on the computers to remind students to take their data sticks – we are now giving this a go. Also, many thanks to Sophie Miles and her mum who donated over three carrier bags full of excellent books for our school library.

Awesome Airedale High and the community can celebrate again as the school has achieved the Leading Parent Partnership Award. This is a significant achievement as we are the only school in Wakefield Local Authority to obtain this accolade.

The school has been working towards this award for two years and the process culminated in a day which included interviews with parents, teachers, governors and students as well as a thorough analysis of a portfolio of evidence.
